 Echoes Boutique Hotel & Restaurant appoints new Group General Manager 
 

Dynamic luxury sector hotelier, Ralf Bruegger, today starts his new appointment as Group General Manager of Echoes Boutique Hotel & Restaurant, Lilianfels Resort & Spa and the Hydro Majestic in the Blue Mountains.

 

Renowned for his innovation and ability to deliver successful hotel operations in Australia, Ralf will develop an exciting new phase for Lilianfels and sister property Echoes. He will also lead the $40 million transformation of the landmark Hydro Majestic Hotel with Stage (1) due for completion in 2013.

 

Direct from his General Manager’s role at Sydney’s Observatory Hotel, Mr Bruegger will bring substantial industry experience and creative energy to the  resorts. He replaces Brian McHenry who fostered many positive changes for Lilianfels and Echoes over the past two years. During this time the property achieved a string of awards and accolades, including Travel + Leisure’s World’s Best Awards in 2011 as a top 5 lodge and resort in the Oceana region and World Travel Awards’ Leading Spa resort in Australia 2011.

With over 20 years of management experience in Australia and internationally, Mr. Bruegger will build on Lilianfels’ reputation for customer service, implement fresh management and marketing strategies which will enhance its financial and operational performance whilst maintaining its iconic status in regional tourism.
